These crosses, commonly known as Mashams, carry the best characteristics of the Teeswater  producing good long, well carcassed prolific ewes with great milking and mothering abilities.

The Masham, has been bred for over a century on the hills of Northern England. The Masham is well known for:-

  • Milking Ability
  • Strong Mothering

 

The Masham is then crossed by terminal sires (Suffolk, Texel, Charolais and Beltex) to produce quality lambs with great vigour ability to stand inclement weather.
